In 1997 we had our first experience with Willis and his crew (then working for Sheppard Brothers Construction) when they built a new building for us that was our “Main Activity” building for our camp.  Needless to say, we were hooked.  Fast forward 10 years,  a new island was purchased and we had a blank canvas to start our dream vacation spot.  Over time Willis, Mike and John built a total of 4 buildings on this island and we feel we have the gem.  Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is by far the best we have seen in the area.  We are so proud of what they created for us.  They have been there for us for over 25 years.  We can’t say enough good things about the Sheppard family.  Willis and his crew are top notch. Their business character and commitment to their customer is of the highest standard.  We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build in Northern Ontario.

Willis has done a number of projects for us over many years, including a complete interior renovation and addition to our older cottage, upgrading of cribs and floating docks, and other smaller projects. He is always professional, meets deadlines, and his work is well done and thorough.  Willis effectively communicates options, and looks after the details so we do not have worry about them.  He has often looked after issues without us asking, to get our cottage ready before our arrival.  We look forward to continuing to work with Willis as we are always pleased with his work.
